TEACHING A POETRY LESSON

When we were told that we were going to have to teach the grade 9’s a poetry lesson, I was extremely excited as my class was going to teach, and how cool is that! We then had to choose teachers to prepare and conduct the lesson and surprisingly I was chosen as a teacher .
AS A TAECHER:
Preparing the lesson was abit challenging but it went well with the inputs and help of the other teachers. My part of conducting the lesson was quite simple as I just had to record the poem in a native accent and choose a few of the grade 9’s to record it as well. This again was another wonderful experience that helped me come out of my shell.
